1. Information we collect
When you create an account or use ReelPilot, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and payment details (processed securely by Stripe—we do not store card data). We also collect usage data such as videos created, features used, session duration, and interaction events. Device and browser information is collected automatically when you access our services.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and improve ReelPilot; to send you product updates and account notifications (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time); to process payments and prevent fraud; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Third parties we share data with
We work with carefully selected service providers including Stripe for payment processing, cloud infrastructure providers for hosting, and analytics services (with data anonymized where possible). We may share information with law enforcement when legally required. We do not share your data with advertisers.
4. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict how we process it; to receive a portable copy of your data; and to withdraw consent at any time. 5. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to retention requirements imposed by law.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies required for login sessions and security. We also use optional analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including data encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of ReelPilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
